Dr. Stillman Jacquard, Psychologist/Psychologue
May we honour all of our Teachers and Elders, past, present and emerging, known and unknown, who have influenced these practices and teachings, and who come from different spiritual traditions and embody the richness of different cultures, races, genders, and other sources of intersectionality. May our practice be their continuation.

Aware of the suffering caused by racial, systemic, gender, and social inequities, may we commit ourselves, individually and as a community, to understanding the roots of these inequities, and to transforming this suffering into compassion, understanding and love in action. As a global community of practitioners, may we develop greater awareness of the disproportionate racial violence and oppression committed by institutions and by individuals, whether consciously or unconsciously, against Black people, Indigenous peoples, and people of the global majority. May the collective wisdom and energy of our community bring peace and reconciliation to all.

May this community co-create a brave space, guided by the shared intention of providing each other with opportunities to be recognized, acknowledged, honored, and respected in ways we may not always feel in the world. Practicing mindfulness and compassion together as a community, may we begin to wake up individually as well as collectively. And from this place, may we leave feeling more inspired and empowered to embody and fully express our true and whole selves, for the benefit of all beings everywhere.
